Happy Birthday Mom!!!!
So, another year over, and what have we done............. SO MUCH!!!
I cant believe how much has happened to all of us in this past year, babies born, people moving, hurricanes, stores closing, but we are all still here, and I know that IM happy with the changes. I really miss beautiful key west and working at such a FABULOUS company, with my charismatic and lovely parents. DID I ever tell any of my family members how wonderful it was working at purplebabydaddies???? I miss my job every day.
Heres a synopsis of what occured on a daily basis in my purplebabydaddy world.
Wake up in my house in the middle of old town key west, and hop on my shiny pink beach cruiser that my mom bought me for Christmas. Beautiful Day, every day.Ride the 4 miles to stock island, where the studio was. Open the huge sliding wooden doors which let an incredible amount of light and draft in. Relax, drinking coffee and talking with my mom on her outdoor sun laden, palm tree shaded deck, and then get to work!!!
Orders and Orders!!! Love them!! Galleries calling all day long, wheres my stuff people are excited, we cant wait!!! I told them, you have to wait, everyone wants the stuff, but you must be patient. You have no idea how much this stuff is in demand by galleries around the country.
Blasting music, watching markel dance aroung and create beautiful crazy pieces of art, he is a worker bee man, he kept me in line, and vice versa. Mom, painting in her studio, listening to NPR, and tending to her three little puppies. I was in heaven. We are truly blessed with a beautiful family, and everyone is so creative. I miss you terribly mom and markel, and I want you to know how much I enjoyed my time working with you.
I have so much joy in my heart knowing that you are creating with free spirits again now that you dont have to worry about the albatross parts of owning a business that can weigh anyone down. How amazingly beautiful!!!!
I see lots more creativity, love, and prosperity in the year to come.
I have moved to portsmouth NH, this recent March, after going to Ecuador in January (truly magical-- the landscape pic above is of the Andes in central ecuador) and meeting an amazing man named Tom. He lives here and is originally from Boston, was visiting a friend in Ecuador, and we fell in love. I came here to visit in February, and am now living here with him. It is an amazing area, we live about 10 minutes walking distance from downtown, beaches everywhere, water everywhere, and we have a guest room!!! Anyone interested please come and visit!!!
We just planted a veggie garden, and I will update with more pictures when I get that figured out.
Im going to India in about a week, and I will post pictures of my travels when I get back. If anyone has travel tips for me as far as India is concerned, I am open to hearing them!!!!

Oh my darling girl! Thank you so much..... That was delightful!MINI FLOWER 2!!!!! goes to Eva Victoria!!!! Now, we're cooking with gas! Who will be next? One flower to go, yet so many contributors to add- It's looking like a toss-up between my Lois, my sister Mary, and my parents.....the race is on.
